

María Silvina Da Ponte
Was born on April 2, 1960 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the daughter of Norberto J. Da Ponte and Dora Larralde Elizondo. She’s the fourth of five siblings. She’s married to Luis A Giacometti. She has three children: Marcelo, Lucas and Mariana. She lives and works in Villa Devoto, Buenos Aires. She’s Italian-Argentine.
Academic background:
Silvina holds a National Professor degree in Painting awarded by Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón. She was a student at the chair of “Painting III” and “Painting V” of teacher and Prof. Miguel Ángel Vidal and Prof. Theulé, disciple of Pettoruti.
